Keychain Retain

A landscape keychain card: a letter or an emoji at one end, a real, scannable QR code beside it, and the split ring hole on the edge. Sizes are in millimetres and they're honest — including the bit where shrink plastic comes out of the oven at less than half the size you printed it.

The half you recognise across a room, before you'd ever bother scanning it.

Packets usually quote area — "shrinks to 20%" means 45% of each edge. Bake one test piece and measure it; brands differ.

Card detail

The code

A higher level survives more scuffing but packs more, finer modules into the same square. On something this small that trade rarely pays — the tool already upgrades the level for free whenever it fits.

The sheet

Export

Cards this small are mostly edges, and edges are where dpi shows. 600 is the default for a reason.

The QR here is a real one — encoded, error-corrected and masked in this tab, then checked against the module size it ends up at. Print with scaling off ("100%", not "fit to page") or every millimetre on this page becomes a lie. Nothing is uploaded; the sheet is drawn here.
